During University and my PhD I worked with several different technologies
and I got a good knowledge on different subjects.
Below the main area in which I conducted my researches.
Languages
During the University I got a strong confidence with the Pascal
and Prolog languages and a good knowledge
of the assembler for the Motorola 68020 microprocessor.
During my PhD I got a deep knowledge of the Unified Modelling
Language (UML) (UML 1.x and 2.0) and basic
knowledge of the Object Constraint Language (OCL)
and the Model Driven Architecture (MDA).
Developing process
I have a good knowledge of the Unified Process (UP)
and the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and
practical experience in applying them to real cases study
taken from an industrial context (Ericsson Lab Italy, Rome,
Italy).
Software Applications
I have a valid knowledge of the most popular reliability growth
models and excellent practice with the tools SMERFS,
CASRE and SoRel. In particular,
I have experienced their application to real failures data
derived from the Ericsson Lab Italy (Rome, Italy) context
with the purpose of making prediction about the reliability.
Good knowledge and practice of Mathematica.
In particular, I used this application for developing fault
prediction model and demos.
I have a deep knowledge of the Bayesian theory and Bayesin
networks and practical experience in applying the latter into
the industrial context by means of the tool Hugin.
Valid knowledge of the Hierarchical Object Oriented Design
method (HOOD) and experience in usign it
for object oriented designing. I have a good knowledge of
the IBM Rational Software and in particular practical experience
in using the tools Rational Rose and Rational
RT, RUPBuilder, Rational
Test Manager. I have also a valid knowledge of the
tools Objecteering and Poseidon.
Operating systems
I can use MS Windows as a standard user.
Web Services
I am currently involved in the development of novel testing
techniques in the area of Web Services. Correspondingly, I
am acquainted with standards and related technologies such
as SOAP, WSDL and UDDI.
Mark-up Languages
I have knowledge of the XML meta language and of the related
technologies such as XML Schema, XPath,
XSLT and Schematron.
e-Learning
I am acquainted with technologies and processes for developing
and providing e-Learning contents.
